Just over five hours and Don and I and friend Don Gwinn should be boarding a plane at the Ontario Airport and starting our trip to Portland.
.
This will be a very busy weekend for all of us in the His Voice family. But we are all excited to be sharing music with other Christian men's choruses and meeting new and old friends (like Don and Barbara Livesay who were ordained the same day we were in Georgia almost thirty years ago). This trip reminds me of what is truly valuable in life ... the love and acceptance of Jesus, to be with my Don, and for my Steph and Kate, Mom and Dad, and so many others of you!
.
Wherever you are, keep Don and I in your thoughts and prayers. Don't forget Missy, Fishy, and all our household plants, too ... that they can survive the weekend without us! I'll be reporting back next week (at http://www.hisvoicenews.blogspot.com/ ) to tell you all about it and I think I'll write a few words here, too, a little more personal -- yep, that's me, Nancy the Notetaker reporting on His Voice Men's Chorus singing in the Oregon Adventist Men's Chorus Festival. Off we go into the wild blue yonder!
