WHAT'S A BUNCH of gals doing in Palm Springs in the middle of winter? Well, first of all, warming up. But beyond seeking comfort fifty Sun Lakers, all members of Arlene's Breakfast Club, gathered this past Thursday morning at Billy's Reeds to enjoy the Christmas season together ... tasting delicious food, taking in the elegant sites inside the famous restaurant, and sharing gifts. founded and perpetuated by Arlene Vella).

Sun Lakes neighbors in Sun Lakes are welcome to come to the monthly breakfasts at a variety of restaurants around the Pass area. The club has sponsored and participated in a variety of community outreaches that helps senior facilities, disadvantaged children, and much more. Arlene Vella, founder of the Breakfast Club, began the club as a way to get to know her neighbors and has blessed many of us Sun Lakes with her monthly breakfast gatherings. Thursday, December 11, was a great experience of tasting delicious food, exchanging mystery gifts, and listening to balladeer John strum his guitar and seranade us with memorable Christmas carols.
