It was family together
not every heart, but still precious in its gathering.
.
First in the door were Grandpa and Grandma Neuharth, both 91 years of age, who rode up from Escondido with brother Dennis and Claire from Missouri. If you remember brother Dennis was in a car/bicycle accident in Sept - he looks great now - PTL.
.
Neice Daniele (holding her home-made Yule Log dessert below) and husband Dave brought pasta and presents.
.
Neice Rosie and her cute friend Marcus came close behind. Brother Gary and son GaryAdam arrived next. Gary's wife Betty/Elizabeth with 95-year-old mom Rose White conpleted our family circle with delicious dishes and presents to share.
.
We rubbed shoulders in the kitchen, munched on Don's cheese & cracker delights, devoured turkey morsels (real & imagined), enhaled gum drops, exchanged and stole presents, and carefully unwrapped Grandpa and Grandma's gifts from candle fountains to tea chests to shower back-scratchers. We snapped memories, and gathered laughter. Yes, we did!
