The guy behind the candle is my sweetheart, Don. That weekend in December he was narrator for a cantata titled, "Noel, Jesus is Born." The nativity play was wonderful. I was a part of the white-clad choir in the background singing those wonderful songs happily all night long for three nights. That weekend Don had a bad case of the flu and fought valiantly all weekend to keep his voice. I love hearing Don speak or sing. He has a tenderness in both his singing and speaking voice that reaches down in a person's heart and lifts them up.
