QUESTIONS for ANGELIQUE

When Jesus
was hanging
on the cross
He felt that God the Father had turned His back on Him
He knew that sin was offensive to God and felt it might break
their relationship. Even though Jesus felt that way. It wasn't
really what
was happening
that dark day.
Do you know
where the Father
was? He was
right beside
the cross.
So, if you feel
empty or alone
Remember that it is then, in your weakness, that God can be the closest to you. He not only can be, but He is right there beside you ... right now, right then, in the darkness, beside the cross of your discouragement -- Amazing Grace, huh!

I've been thinking these thoughts (above) because this past weekend Don and I were in an Easter cantata. This is the choir I sang in. We had a lot of fun singing songs to God . . . You don't see me, because I'm behind the camera.
.
Later, when my hands were empty, sans camera, I played my part well as we sang a variety of praise songs in the musical play ... words like "Hosanna," "Rise, My Love" were on my lips as we lifted our hands high.
.
What impressed me as I was acting my part as an angel was how individual we all were even though we were all dressed in white. I know now that the Heavenly host are unique, too. Afterall, when sin entered Heaven they all had a choice, just like we do. They had a choice to trust God or believe Lucifier. Some choose the lie from a brother angel ... others remembered what God was really like and trusted Him even though they didn't understand it all.
.
I can hardly wait to meet my angel, my guardian angel ... I think I'll call her Angelique. I bet she will have a lot of stories to share with me ... including those about my many close calls, times when I could've had a tragic accident, but didn't. I've witnessed first hand a few myself, but I know I really don't see the big picture as God or the Heavenly angels see me wandering around down here on earth. So I am going to gather all my questions together for my celestial companion, Angelique. But you know that won't be my FIRST question. No way, my first question will be...
.
.
.
.
.
.
"Where's Jesus!"
