As many of you know, I tag along with the His Voice Men's Chorus* that Don sings in. This past Sabbath, the group sang at the Laguna Niguel Church and during the worship service, Don's name was mentioned as introducing the next song. One of the people in the audience perked up when she heard the name Troyer as that is also her last name, so after the service, she came up and introduced herself. Her name is Joell Troyer (with an accent on the e) and she lives in California now but is originally from Missouri and attended Union College in Nebraska. the picture with this article shows (left to right) Joell's friend Jeff Adkins, Joell Troyer, and Don Troyer. We look forward to getting to know Joell more as time goes by.
