Mom is near the close of her life right now and it is still so hard to let her go!

She's been a fighter with a beautiful smile, always ready with words of encouragement to her only daughter who shares her name. Plus, she's just my Mom.

Today, Don and I are driving down to Escondido to sit by her bed at the La Brea Home and hold her hand. She loves to hold hands.
