"More Like You"

When I count my blessings, I can go all the way back to grade school. There I was blessed with my teacher, Marcia Sawzak. She inspired me to be a writer and a Christian lady, too. Below is a poem written by Mrs. Sawzak in February of last year. As you read this poem, think of the sweetest voice you know. She still sounds like that.

MORE LIKE YOU
.
Tell me, Lord, how can I be
More like you, and less like me
May I feel the pain of others
And bring sweet peace to friends & brothers.
.
I want to walk the way you trod
In deep communion with my God
Oh, fill me Lord with peace and grace
I know that soon I'll see your face
On that great day at last I'll be
More like you and less like me.
