Hey, I'll admit it, I wanted to be famous ... growing up next to Hollywood gave me a unique vantage point on the rich and famous. Well, I didn't win an Oscar or even headline a marque', but I did have some of my thoughts published ... whoopee! The latest one was published in a collection of devotions written by women called "Heaven's Whisper." I just picked up my copy in the mailbox today ... that's why I'm mentioning this now. As you can see from the picture above the cover is very colorful . ... My story is on January 10, "Grandma's Quilt" and a beautiful promise from Jeremiah 29:11-13 is included,
---
"For I know the plans I have for you ...
plans to prosper you and not to harm you ...."
---
I reread my quilt story today and had trouble getting through it. That's because it has been a long time since I last saw Grandma and I sort of miss her ... but I still have her quilt with all the colorful patches. Okay, okay, hold on, I'll tell you where you can learn more about the book -- just click on this hyperlink > http://www.adventistbookcenter.com/ and then type in the search box the book's title. Be sure to use the apostrophe in "Heaven's Whisper" as it makes a difference on whether you can locate the book, trust me. What's neat to me about this book is that the profits go to help other women further their education through a scholarship program. I like that!

Oh, and by the way, do you see my pen placed on the book? It isn't a part of the cover and doesn't even work. The pen is literally a pin or broach and symbolizes my self-imposed title, Nancy the Notetaker ... Goodnight, Ya'll, guess I'll call it a (winter's) night!
